After-School Activities

After-School Activities engage Jackson Walnut Park School students to connect with one another, learn more about their personal interests, and develop life skills that build character.

Providing age-appropriate experiences for children age 4 through the sixth grade, programs utilize the recently constructed Jackson Walnut Park Student Center plus Jackson Elementary and Walnut Park Montessori classroom spaces, and our school’s expansive outdoor areas.

Jackson Walnut Park School offers three After-School Activity sessions: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Choices span visual and dramatic arts, athletics, chess, creative writing, outdoor activities, public speaking, world languages, cooking, baking, science and engineering, technology, yoga, and more.

Ages 4- Kindergarten
2:45 – 3:45 PM, Monday- Thursday

First Grade through Sixth Grade
2:50 – 3:50 PM or 2:50- 4:20 PM, Monday- Thursday

Fall

Homework Club

Available to second through sixth graders, Jackson Walnut Park Homework Club provides a quiet, supportive space where students can focus on their schoolwork. With help available if needed, kids are encouraged to develop their organizational and time-management skills. Those who finish early can engage in quiet activities, fostering respect for others’ concentration.

Homework Club is provided in half-hour, one-hour, or an hour and a half increments, beginning at 2:50 PM and concluding at 4:20 PM. Registration for this club will remain open throughout each session.

Homework Club Rates

30 Minutes (2:50-3:20 or 3:50-4:20): $10.00/day
1 Hour (2:50-3:50): $15.00/day
1.5 Hours (2:50-4:20): $25.00/day

March Break Camp

Looking for a fun and enriching way to keep your child engaged over March Break? Our March Break Camp is the perfect opportunity! We’ve carefully designed programs for three groups—toddlers, children ages 3-6, and those in grades 1-6—each filled with age-appropriate activities that will spark creativity, inspire learning, and keep them excited all week long.

Spots are limited, so be sure to register early!
